As we have begun to move our church services online, Redeemer wants to provide your family with materials to worship together. Worshiping together is one of the most spiritually significant and influential things your family can do. Redeemer desires to continue to come alongside parents as they teach their children to follow Christ. In this time of online services, we will be providing a family devotional outline each week. These outlines will continue to walk us through The New City Catechism curriculum. The outline will include the Catechism question and answer, the passage for the lesson, prayer points, and a memory verse song. If you have not already downloaded the app I would recommend that you do so as it has each Catechism question/answer in the format of a song. The app also has an adult devotional that goes with each lesson.             

 

We hope that this time would be a time of gospel centered discussion among your family. We encourage you to revisit the Catechism question, the memory verse, and the prayer points multiple times throughout the week. The truths that are being covered in each lesson are not only for our kids, they are also truths that we need to be reminded of ourselves. This is a time of uncertainty. It is also a time with more flexible schedules that allow for us to spend more time seeking the Lord together as a family. I pray that these materials would bless your family in this time and lead us to fix our eyes on Christ.
